Daphne wins Innovation Award
Another fantastic week and achievement for the Daphne Team! Last week we made our first live event appearance since before the pandemic. Our CTO, Dr William Ramsay, presented on stage at the Envirotech For Shipping. Daphne was also awarded at the Ceremony, where we won the Maritime Innovation Award, voted by industry experts.

The event gathered Europe's shipping community on the 9th and 10th of September, with 300 attendees, 30 exhibitors and 48 speakers, delegations from more than 50 shipowners' companies.
William delivered a keynote where he talked about the transition to a multifuel future and the importance of a transitional technology to meet future emission regulations. With Daphne's award-winning ONE solution technology, shipowners will have certainty that they are compliant today and in the future, in a changing fuel-future as the maritime industry increases the focus on sustainability.
Daphne's ongoing innovative efforts were recognized with the Maritime Innovation Award at the Awards Ceremony. The voting for the award was open and online all the time up to the event, where Daphne had the most votes for the innovation category.
According to the IEA's roadmap to NetZero by 2050, almost half the reductions in emissions will come from technologies currently at the demonstration or prototype phase. Recognized as one of Europe's most innovative climate tech start-ups, we believe Daphne is one of these innovations and will make an impact on sustainability and climate change.
Daphne leverages innovative technology to remove exhaust gas toxic pollutants & GHG emissions from ships. Our core technology reduces air & sea pollution for ships powered by any fuel of today or future fuels such as LNG.
For us at Daphne, a great honour, as this is the opinion from the industry experts. We are proud to have developed a technology that we believe will make an impact on climate change!
